The Stat Line of the Night — 11/2/10 — John Wall
The Stat Line of the Night – 11/3/10 – Kobe Bryant
Looks like someone is totally recovered from that off-season knee surgery. The Lakers went to Sacramento to take on the Kings, looking for their 5th straight win to start the new season. Kobe Bryant was ready to dominate.
So ready to dominate that Kobe went triple-double on the Kings. Bryant scored 30 points on 9-22 shooting, but hit 3 of 6 from three-point land and nailed 9 of 10 from the free throw line. He led all scorers in the game. Bryant pulled down 10 rebounds and added a game-high 12 assists. He also had a steal, and perhaps most impressively, just one turnover throughout the game.
The Lakers didn’t need to sweat much for their 5th win, going into the 4th quarter with a 14-point lead. They won 112-100, their 7th straight win against the Kings. Kobe’s averaging 25 points per game, along with 7 boards and 5 assists. He’s shooting almost 40% from behind the arc and he’s got the Lakers to 5-0. Nice start to the season for someone shortly removed from knee surgery, no? Kobe Bryant has “The Stat Line of the Night” for 11/3/10.
