A few days ago I mentioned that I am really not surprised by anything I see within the game of soccer these days. The crazy kung-fu kicks don’t surprise me. The player-on-player biting doesn’t surprise me. The headbutting doesn’t surprise me. And I am certainly not surprised by the homoerotic goal celebrations.
A couple of German stars provided us with the latter following Bayern Munich’s lone goal during a 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday. Although it was another German star, Mario Gomez, who scored the goal, fellow German internationals Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thomas Muller decided to share a moment with one another as their teammates gathered to celebrate the 1-0 lead.
Looks like they have themselves quite the tight-knit group over in Bayern these days.
