There’s that uppercut again! The Boston Bruins’ Johnny Boychuk took a page out of Kevin Westgarth’s book last night when he found himself in tight during a bout with the Buffalo Sabres’ Steve Montador. Unable to break free from Mantador’s hold, Boychuk unleashed a flurry of uppercuts that sent his opponent sprawling to the ice.
Being the only fight to take place during Thursday’s slate of NHL games, it was guaranteed a place on our “Frozen Fisticuffs Fight of the Night.” However, some solid shots from Boychuk helped justify this honor.
