The Stat Line Of The Night – 1/31/11 – Blake Griffin

The Los Angeles Clippers went into last night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Staples Center having won their previous eight home games, and after watching his double-double streak end last week, the Clippers superstar rookie, Blake Griffin was not about to let another streak come to a halt.

Griffin was doing it all on the floor once again, recording 32 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and one steal in the Clippers’ 105-98 victory.  In addition to filling up the stat sheet, Griffin also performed one of his patented high-flying dunks that we have become accustomed to, while shooting an impressive 13-for-20 from the field and 6-for-6 from the line, on route to his 39th double-double of the season.

With the win, the Clippers extended their home win streak to nine games, which is the third largest streak in franchise history and the most since they moved to Los Angeles in 1984.  Much of that is due to the solid play they have been getting from their 2009 first overall draft pick, Blake Griffin, who earns our “Stat Line of the Night” for Monday, January 31, 2011.
