Sergei Kostitsyn Scores With A One-Handed Roof-Job (Video)

The Nashville Predators’ Sergei Kostitsyn brought a whole new meaning to the term “short-handed goal” Saturday night during a game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Leading 1-0 late in the second period, Kostitsyn’s team was short-handed and so was he, as he was sent in on a breakaway but could only manage to get one hand on his stick. No problem! That was all he would need to lift the puck over the shoulder of Wings’ goalkeeper Joey MacDonald for what was a “short-handed goal” in every sense of the term.

The Predators would go on to win the game by a score of 3-0. Here is another look at Kostitsyn’s one-handed roof-job.
