Female Avs Fan Shows No Love For The Oilers (Video)
Times have been tough for the Colorado Avalanche, and the fans appear to be growing impatient. After making the playoffs last season and coming close to upsetting the first-place Sharks, things have gone downhill from there for the Avs, who have recorded only one win in their past twelve games and currently sit 11 points back of a playoff spot. To make matters worse, they recently traded away their starting goaltender, Craig Anderson, and one of their most dynamic goalscorers, Chris Stewart.
Things hit a season-low last night when they fell to the last place Edmonton Oilers by a score of 5-1. Newly acquired Brian Elliot (who they picked up in exchange for Anderson) let in a few rather easy goals and the Avs had trouble scoring against an Oilers team that has allowed an average of 3.21 goals against per game.
That was easily enough to get this female flipping the bird following the Oilers’ third goal. I believe that finger speaks for the 15,000 in attendance at the Pepsi Center last night.
