Now this is the type of shot to the face that you’d expect to result in the appearance of a stretcher on the soccer pitch!
During Sunday’s Ukranian League match between Shakhtar Donetsk and Volyn, Luiz Adriano was on the receiving end of a devastating knee to the face from Volyn keeper Vitaliy Nedilko.
I am not quite sure how Adriano made if off the field following this painful looking collision, but if he didn’t end up requiring the services of a stretcher, then I know one soccer player who should feel awfully embarrassed right about now.
