Gus Johnson Calls The Greatest Moments In History (Video)

by: JamieD On  Friday, March 25, 2011

No announcer is capable of making a play as great as the over-exuberant voice of CBS’s Gus Johnson.  Whether it is the Tennessee Titan’s Chris Johnson breaking off a 52-yard touchdown run, the Jacksonville Jaguars completing a last second Hail Mary touchdown pass, or Isaiah Thomas hitting a game-winning buzzer beater to win the Pac-10 title, sports always seem better when Gus is around.

But what would it be like if Gus Johnson called more than just sports?  How cool would the moon landing or the fall of the Berlin Wall be if it was accompanied by his sweet sounding voice?  These question have always been a mystery to us, until now.

Here is a look at Gus Johnson calling some of history’s greatest moments. If you are a fan of the man, you will not be disappointed.
