The Daily Gambling Fix 4/6/11 — Daphne Joy
The Game: San Jose Sharks @ Anaheim Ducks
The Reason: The San Jose Sharks have not only been winning games as of late, but they have also been scoring plenty of goals in the process. While winning eight of their past nine games, the Sharks have scored a total of 43 goals (4.8 per game). Tonight they take on a Ducks team that can score a few goals of their own, but continue to struggle to keep the puck out of their own net (8 goals against in last two losses). The last two games, and three out of the five this season between these two teams have gone over the total. Look for tonight to be yet another high-scoring affair.
The Game: San Francisco Giants @ San Diego Padres
The Reason: While most bettors may be quick to side with Tim Lincecum and the Giants in this game, I’d take Stauffer and the Padres on the runline at what I believe to be an incredible price. The Padres’ righty has a 3-2 record and a 1.77 ERA against the Giants over the past five seasons. Look for him and his teammates to make this yet another tight game between these two division foes.
2011 Record: (67-58-2), This Week: (3-1), Last Week: (4-6)
