Frozen Fisticuffs Fight Of The Night — Parros vs. Mashinter — 4/6/11
With the Anaheim Ducks leading by a score of 6-1 three minutes into the third period of their game with the San Jose Sharks last night, both teams had little left to play for, but that didn’t stop George Parros and Brandon Mashinter from finding something to fight for.
What exactly they were fighting for, I am not quite sure. Perhaps it was pride? Or maybe it was just a case of one man (Mashinter) fighting for his job and a spot on the team, and the other man (Parros) giving the youngster that opportunity. Whatever the case may be, these two did enough to earn themselves a spot on our “Frozen Fisticuffs Fight of the Night” for Wednesday, April 6, 2011.
