After every New York Mets game this season, artist Joe Petruccio creates a new entry for his sketchbook that portrays what happened in the game. Each entry can be seen on Joe’s website, called “My Mets Journal.” His entry from last night’s game between the Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies makes it clear that sometimes sports must take a back seat to the more important things that are going on around us.
Appropriately enough, he titled this piece “Some things are bigger than The Game. We Got HIM!”
