Threat Of Tornado Cause Fans To Evacuate Rangers Ballpark (Video)
Carlos Quentin home run balls weren’t the only thing lighting up the sky at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas last night. The game had to be halted at 8:23 pm local time due to lightning, giant balls of hail, and the threat of an oncoming tornado. At one point, the fans were forced to evacuate the stands and funnel into the ballpark’s underground tunnels.
Thankfully, giant balls of hail would be the worst the weather had to offer, as the tornado never came and the game was finally able to resume at 11:21 pm.
Here is a look at fans evacuating the stands at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington last night.
