The Daily Gambling Fix 5/26/11 — Lyssa Lee
The Game: Florida Marlins @ San Francisco Giants
The Reason: In five starts this season, Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong has allowed only seven earned runs against, and he has not allowed an earned run against in his last three starts. As for Marlins starter Anibal Sanchez, he has been almost as impressive over his last three starts, allowing only three earned runs against. In two starts against the Giants last season, he allowed only two earned runs. Look for a pitchers duel to break out today as this game should go under the total.
The Game: Chicago White Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays
The Reason: The Blue Jays have gone over in four of their last five games, while the Sox have gone over in five of their last seven. Five of the last six between these two teams have gone over the total, including their last three in a row. In his last start against the Sox, Jays starter Brandon Morrow gave up seven runs over four innings. Look for both teams to put plenty of runs on the board as this game should go over the 8-run total.
2011 Record: (98-94-3), This Week: (2-4), Last Week: (5-5)
