Clemson And Davidson Provide Us With Some More Rain Delay Theatrics (Video)
We often witness a batter in baseball foul a ball off their foot or shin, but I am somewhat surprised at how rarely we see a player foul a ball off their own face.
After watching Clare Hosack, the catcher for Baylor’s softball team, foul a ball off her face during a game against Georgia on Saturday, I am awfully glad that this type of thing doesn’t happen more often. Tom Hanks will tell you that “there is no crying in baseball,” but I guess we can make an exception for any player who happens to be bleeding from the eye.
Here is a look at the incident from Saturday.
