10 NHL Players When They Were Kids
Ryan Getzlaf vs. Bobby Ryan, Part 2 (Video)
During last year’s NHL Awards Ceremony, Ryan Getzlaf (with some help from Scott Niedermayer) beat Bobby Ryan in a one-on-one challenge, earning the right to continue calling his American teammate “Silver.” This year’s Awards Ceremony took place last night in Las Vegas and Bobby Ryan was looking for revenge.
This time around the Ducks’ 24-year-old winger knew he had to look out for the retired Niedermayer, but one person that he didn’t expect to run into was the third Canadian Olympic gold medal winning member of the Ducks, Corey Perry.
Perry would make several more appearances last night, accepting both the Hart Trophy as the league’s M.V.P., and the Rocket Richard Trophy as the leading goal scorer.
As for Bobby Ryan, maybe next year he can get some help from fellow American teammate Cam Fowler.
