Pikes Peak Hillclimb is an annual race that pits drivers against one another to see who can complete the 12.42 mile accent up Pikes Peak first.
During Bobby Regester’s accent up the hill on Sunday, he ran into a bit of trouble when his modified Pontiac Sunfire made an unexpected decent down the side of the mountain after spinning off the track. Thankfully, Regester was able to walk away from the crash.
