If you ask me how to eliminate dangerous crashes at the plate in baseball, the easy answer is to make it illegal for catchers to block home plate, as well as making it illegal for runners to make contact with any part of the catcher, besides their glove.  That is the simplest way to take care of that problem.

If you were looking for more of a challenge, you can try what this guy did when his path to home plate was impeded by the opposing team’s catcher.

It looks to me like he was able to get up and over the catcher’s tag, but the umpire didn’t seem to think so as he ruled the runner out at the plate.  Blown call?  I’d say so, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying it over and over again.
