Rockies left fielder Ryan Spilborghs has had quite the disappointing first half of the season.  A .276 career hitter, he entered the All-Star break with a disappointing .217 average and only two home runs and 15 RBIs in 75 games.  Looking to turn things around in the second half, he got off to a great start last night against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Spilborghs stepped up to the plate six times, recording a home run, a double, and two singles.  He would drive in four runs in total, and score three runs of his own.  His offensive outburst made him a key catalyst in the Rockies 12-3 victory.  It also upped his average to .234 and earned him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Thursday, July 14, 2011.
