I’m not sure what type of shoes the bat boys in Philadelphia usually wear, but the Phillies organization may want to consider getting them a decent pair of cleats. That should help prevent any of them from blowing a tire and falling into Shane Victorino in the future.
Thankfully, this was the only mishap for the Phillies on the evening, as they cruised to the 3-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants.
