A Man Was Choking At The Rogers Cup Yesterday (Video)
There was a man choking during the finals of the Rogers Cup tennis tournament in Montreal yesterday afternoon, and you might be surprised to hear that the person doing the choking was neither Novak Djokovic, or his opponent, Mardy Fish. Instead, the choker on this occasion was a fan seated in the stands taking in the action on the court.
Play had to be stopped during the second set while fellow spectators performed the Heimlich Maneuver on a man who was apparently choking on some food during the match. Thankfully, the fan would be alright, and he wasn’t the only one who was rescued from a near-choking incident on this day. After winning the first set, Djokovic would drop the second set and found himself tied 2-2 in the third, before eventually recording the 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 victory and capturing his second Rogers Cup Title.
Here is a look at the choking incident.
