How’s This For A High School Football Team’s First Ever Play? (Video)

by: JamieD On  Wednesday, August 31, 2011

Summit High School has never had a football team, but they decided to buck that trend for the upcoming school year, as they put together a group of players to compete in the Williamson County School system in Tennessee for the 2011 football season.  And if the team’s first play in the history of their school’s football program is any indication, it appears as though they have made a great choice.

Summit High won the opening toss and decided to receive the kickoff, which they took back the length of the field for the school’s first ever touchdown.

Here is a look at the play, which will hopefully be just the first of many more touchdowns to come for Summit High’s football team.
