A scary scene unfolded in Sarasota, Florida over the weekend as coaches, parents and players of the Sarasota Gators attacked an official just moments before halftime during their game against the North Port Huskies.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident, which occurred at Riverview High School during a game between 13 and 14-year-old players. Dexter Austin, 48, Timothy Howard, 38, and Antonio Bradley, 28, have all been charged with one count of battery on a sports official, along with the 14-year-old Gators player who delivered the tackle.
