Eagles OL Coach Celebrates TD With Cane-Aided Chest-Bump (Video)
Julio Jones Has Some Mad Hops (Video)
During the Sunday night game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles, Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth began discussing the trade that moved the Falcons up to the sixth spot at the 2011 NFL entry draft so that they could take Alabama’s star wideout, Julio Jones.
In order to obtain Jones at the draft, Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff had to give the Cleveland Browns his 27th, 59th and 124th picks in the 2011 draft, along with a first and fourth rounder in the 2012 draft.
So what have the Falcons received in return thus far? Seven receptions for 100 yards through two games, and this highlight reel grab during the warm-ups prior to yesterday’s contest.
As impressive as this is, I’ll say the Falcons got their money’s worth once I see Jones do this in a game.
