alexis villa knockoutAfter winning Bellator’s featherweight title, Joe Warren was attempting to become the organization’s first two-division champion.  Instead, he became the first Bellator fighter to suffer a brutal knockout in the opening round of a fight, and still leave the arena with a belt around his waist.

After winning the featherweight belt during a fight against Joe Soto last September, Warren entered himself into the Bellator bantamweight tournament, but his stay was short-lived, as he was knocked out by a left hook only 64 seconds into his quarter-final bout with Alexis “the Exorcist” Villa.

Warren still walked away from the fight with his featherweight title, but Villa made it very clear that there is no room for him in the bantamweight division.

Here is a look at the knockout.
