BC Lions’ Cornerback Korey Banks Has A Run-In With The Goalpost (Video)
People always seem to wonder why the Canadian Football League still has their field-goal posts positioned two yards inside the end zone, rather than moving them to the back of the end zone. The answer to that question is simple: With the CFL end zones being as big as they are, moving the goalposts to the back of the end zone would turn an easy chip-shot extra point into a difficult 40-yard field-goal.
So as long as those pesky field-goal posts remain in-play, we will continue to see players violently acquaint themselves with them. The BC Lions’ Korey Banks was the latest to do so during Saturday’s game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
