The Daily Gambling Fix 10/14/11 — Lela
The Game: Milwaukee Brewers @ St. Louis Cardinals
The Reason: With a 9-4 record and a 2.55 ERA in 15 home starts this season, Cards starter Jaime Garcia is tough to beat at Busch Stadium, but Zack Greinke should be up to the task. Greinke is a respectable 1-1 with a 2.35 ERA in three career starts at Busch Stadium, and the Brewers have won in each of his last three starts. Greinke has also earned the victory in four of his last five starts against the Cards. As for Garcia, the Cards have lost in each of his last three starts, and he has lost three of his last four decisions against the Brewers. Look for Milwaukee to take the 3-2 series lead tonight.
The Game: San Jose Sharks vs. Anaheim Ducks
The Reason: After struggling to score in their first two games of the season overseas, the Ducks will be happy to return to the Honda Center, and it should provide their offense with a much needed spark. Four of the six meetings between these two teams last season went over the total, including each of their last three games. Both teams have plenty of offensive firepower, and it should show tonight as this game goes over the total.
2011 Record: (193-176-9), This Week: (4-4), Last Week: (4-6)
