900-Foot BASE Jump Goes Horribly Wrong (Video)
For those of you who are wondering, Christopher Brewer’s parachute was supposed to open before he hit the water after jumping off the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, West Virginia on Saturday. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, resulting in a fractured pelvis, along with other lung and spinal injuries. While those injuries do seem awfully painful, I still can’t believe he somehow survived this frightening 900-foot BASE jump.
However, the fact that he did makes this video that much easier to watch without feeling guilty about it.
