Standing on your own two feet may not seem like a difficult task, but it appeared to be a little too much to ask of Shakhtar Donetsk’s Olexandr Chyzhov during today’s UEFA Champions League match against Zenit St Petersburg, as his inability to maintain his balance while receiving a ball in his own end resulted in a costly turnover and a game-tying goal from Viktor Fayzulin.
As you would imagine, that slip-up didn’t sit too well with the home fans, who were hoping to see their club record their first Group G victory. Instead, they remain in last place in the group with two points in their first three matches.
It could have been four points in three matches for Shakhtar, has it not been for the following play.
