Yoav Ziv Gets Red Card For Kicking Shoe At Referee (Video)
It was clearly no accident when Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Yoav Ziv kicked his shoe at a referee during yesterday’s UEFA Europa League match against Stoke City FC. With that being said, I would love to hear the explanation offered by Ziv to the head referee before he was issued a straight red card for his actions.
Stoke was already leading by a score of 3-0 at the time, and they would hold on to win by the same score. Here is a look at the incident.
