Let’s All Watch Ron Washington Dance (Video)
The 2011 World Series between the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals has been an entertaining one, with two games finishing within one run, another finishing with a total of 23 runs, and the Rangers holding a 3-2 lead as the series shifts back to St. Louis for the final two games. But despite all of that, the action on the field has been largely overshadowed by the action in the Rangers dugout, thanks to Ron Washington and his dancing feet.
Whether he is watching a ball off the bat of Adrian Beltre carry over the left field fence, or Nelson Cruz and Michael Young round the bases to score on a Mike Napoli double, you can always count on Ron to be “Doin’ the Wash,” which is what they call it in Texas these days.
Here is a look at a montage of Washington’s dance moves, which was put together by FOX during last night’s game.
