The Game: Colorado Avalanche @ Calgary Flames
The Reason: The Colorado Avalanche are off to an incredible start to the 2011-12 NHL season. Not only have they won six of their first eight games, but they are a perfect 6-0 on the road. That streak has to come to an end at some point, but we don’t believe it will be tonight against a Flames team that is 2-4-1 on the season and has lost its last two in a row at home. Look for a young Avs team to be energized by the raucous crowd in Calgary as they come away with the road victory.
The Game: Philadelphia Flyers @ Montreal Canadiens
The Reason: The Flyers has owned the Habs as of late, winning five of their last six meetings. This time around the Canadiens are entering this game on a six-game losing streak and their only win of the season came against Winnipeg. As for the Flyers, they have stumbled as of late, but they are still 3-0 away from home and are posting an impressive 5-2-1 record on the season. Look for them to add to their win column tonight as they beat up on the wounded Habs.
