Move over, Patrick Swayze. Garrett Mcnamara has set a new surfing record for riding the biggest wave. Mcnamara caught a 90-foot monster off the coast of Portugal yesterday, giving new meaning to the term “gnarly.” The event wasn’t planned. Mcnamara was just out for a surf in a canyon when this epic wave came his way. Good on you, Garrett. That’s definitely something even we’ll be telling our grandkids about.
