The Daily Gambling Fix 12/1/11 — Amanda Marie
The Game: Philadelphia Eagles @ Seattle Seahawks
The Reason: The Philadelphia Eagles are 4-7 straight-up this season, 4-7 against the spread and they have lost three of their last four games. They will also be without the services of Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin, and they could also be missing star running back LeSean McCoy. But for some reason, they are still favored on the road against the Seahawks. After entering the season as a Super Bowl contender, the self-proclaimed “Dream Team” no longer appears to have any confidence in themselves, and we don’t have any confidence in them. Look for the Seahawks to get the win and the cover at home tonight.
The Game: Pittsburgh Penguins @ Washington Capitals
The Reason: The Caps have been slumping, but tonight they will take on a Penguins team that they have dominated recently. Washington has won eight of the last nine meetings between these two teams, including their only meeting this season. The Penguins have lost four of their last five on the road, while the Caps are 8-3-1 at home this season. Look for Washington to get Dale Hunter his first victory tonight against the Pens.
2011 Record: (216-212-9), This Week: (4-2), Last Week: (3-6-1)
