The Daily Gambling Fix 12/5/11 — Cynthia
The Game: San Diego Chargers @ Jacksonville Jaguars
The Reason: The Jacksonville Jaguars have the 31st ranked offense in the NFL, with an average of 12.5 points per game. They also have the fifth best defense, giving up just 18.2 points against per game. They have gone under the total in each of their last five games, and 10 of their 11 games this season. The Chargers have failed to score more than 20 points in each of their last three games and their quarterback, Philip Rivers, has struggled mightily this season. Look for a low-scoring game to unfold as this game goes under the total.
The Game: Washington Capitals @ Florida Panthers
The Reason: The Capitals finally broke out of their losing skid and won their first game with Dale Hunter behind the bench by defeating the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Now they will look to begin a winning-streak, and what better way to do so than by playing the Florida Panthers. While the Panthers have been solid this season, the Caps have had plenty of success against them in recent memory, winning 10 of the last 13 meetings between these two teams. Look for the Caps to continue their dominance over the Panthers with a win tonight.
