Boston Bruins enforcer Shawn Thornton had himself quite the game against the Winnipeg Jets last night. In addition to scoring a brilliant goal on a penalty shot to tie the game at 2-2, he also dropped the gloves with former teammate Mark Stuart during an entertaining tilt.
Thornton would go on to make Stuart’s return to the Gardens a painful one, as he pounded him with several good shots, earning himself a spot on the “Frozen Fisticuffs Fight of the Night” for Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
