Jose Aldo Celebrates UFC 142 Win By Jumping Into The Crowd (Video)
Jose Aldo’s knee to the face of Chad Mendes 4:59 into the first round of their Featherweight Title fight at UFC 142 was quite impressive, but what was even more impressive was the manner in which Aldo chose to celebrate his knockout victory; by jumping into the Brazilian crowd.
The win was Aldo’s 14th straight, and it was also his fifth straight successful title defense (the first two came while the belt belonged to the WEC, while the last three came in UFC bouts). However, with this bout taking place in his home country of Brazil, it appeared to be that much more special, and it showed seconds after the referee called an end to the fight, as Aldo sprinted outside the cage and jumped into a crowd of rowdy Brazilian fans. After being engulfed in the madness, it appeared as though Aldo would never make it back to the ring to receive his belt, but security was eventually able to round up the champ and usher him back to the center of the octagon.
Here is a look at all of the action.
