It didn’t take long for UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo to successfully defend his belt on Saturday, as he needed only one round to defeat Chad Mendes during their bout at UFC 142 in Rio de Janeiro. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the Brazilian and his training staff, as they encountered a bit of a bump in the road during Aldo’s march to the octagon. And while Aldo was able to avoid that “bump in the road,” one of his cornermen wasn’t, resulting in a rather embarrassing faceplant.
Sure, Mendes couldn’t even last a round with the champ, but at least he was able to stay on his feet for longer than this dude!
