Alex Ovechkin Blinds Mathieu Perreault With Shaving Cream (Video)
Alex Ovechkin is usually the one scoring the hat-tricks when he is playing, but with the Capitals’ captain sidelined following a three-game suspension, it was Mathieu Perreault taking his spot on the scoresheet.
The 24-year-old winger had himself a career-game, as he scored three goals, including the game winner, during a 5-3 victory over the Boston Bruins. And while Ovechkin wasn’t able to enjoy the moment with Perreault on the ice, he was there to give him a heavy dose of shaving cream-to-the-face following the game.
While Ovechkin may have you believing that this was a friendly exchange between the two teammates, I can’t help but think that blinding Perreault with the strong sting of shaving cream in the eyes is simply Ovie’s way of saying, “only I score the hat-tricks around here kid.”
