The Game: Duke Blue Devils @ North Carolina Tar Heels

The Pick: North Carolina -6

The Reason: It’s rivalry week in the NCAA, and as far as rivalries go, they don’t get much bigger than Duke vs. North Carolina. The Blue Devils has gotten the better of the Tar Heels as of late, winning four of the last five meetings, but we believe that will all change tonight. UNC heads into the latest chapter of this rivalry with a 20-3 record this season, a 15-1 record…

UNC heads into the latest chapter of this rivalry with a 20-3 record this season, a 15-1 record at home, and a 7-1 record in ACC play.  Their bigs inside all seem to be peaking just in time for this game, as they have helped the Tar Heels reel off five straight wins since a humbling loss to Florida State.  As for the Blue Devils, they are coming off a loss at home to Miami.  Look for UNC to make it two losses in a row for Duke, as they get the win, and the cover, tonight.

The Game:Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ West Virginia Mountaineers

The Pick: Notre Dame +6.5

The Reason: The Fighting Irish head into tonight’s match-up against the Mountaineers on a roll, having won their last four straight – three against ranked opponents.  They have also put together an impressive 7-3 record in Big East play, and they have won four of their last five games on the road, with two of those wins coming against ranked foes.  As for the Mountaineers, they have lost three of their last four games, dropping them to 6-5 in conference play. It may be tough for the Fighting Irish to leave West Virginia with a win, but we believe they will at least make it close enough to leave with a cover.

2012 Record: (27-22-2), This Week: (2-2), Last Week: (7-2-1)
