Capitals’ Mathieu Perreault Scores With His Face (Video)

perreault off the face goalThe sticks of the Washington Capitals’ players haven’t been doing much scoring as of late, as they have failed to record more than two goals in each of their last four games.  As a result, some of their players have begun searching for a more creative way to put the puck in the back of the net.  Take forward Mathieu Perreault, for example, who decided to mix pleasure with pain by using his face to score a goal during last night’s game against the Ottawa Senators.

Unfortunately for Perreault and the rest of his teammates, that goal would account for half of the team’s offensive production, leaving them two goals short of the Senators’ four-goal output.  That has to leave the Caps’ forward wondering whether it was worth sacrificing his face in the first place.

Check it out.
