Frozen Fisticuffs Fight Of The Night — White vs. Gudbranson — 2/26/12
With both the Montreal Canadiens and the Florida Panthers making a desperate push for the playoffs down the stretch, neither team was willing to give their opponent an inch when they met in Miami yesterday afternoon. As a result, a rather feisty affair unfolded on the ice at the BankAtlantic Center.
While there was certainly no shortage of slashes, pushes and face-washes being exchanged between players of both teams, only one fight broke out throughout the entire 60 minutes of this game. It was a spirited bout between the Canadiens’ Ryan White and the Panthers’ Erik Gudbranson, and it earns our “Frozen Fisticuffs Fight of the Night” for Sunday, February 26, 2012.
