Scuba Diver’s Leg Nearly Taken Off By A Tiger Shark (Video)
When it comes to swimming, I have one rule: If it isn’t a mammal, I don’t want to be swimming with it. That includes everything, from snakes and jellyfish, to sharks. And believe me, there are plenty of mammals I also wouldn’t want to be swimming with, like lions, whales and fat chicks. However, there are a few mammals, like dogs and dolphins, that I don’t mind accompanying me for the occasional dip.
With that being said, it appears as though these scuba divers broke my only rule, and one of them nearly paid for it.
It is assumed that the following clip was taken during a scuba diving adventure in the Bahamas, because only there will they allow you to swim unprotected with a bunch of giant tiger sharks as they circle a box of chum. And if that idea didn’t already seem stupid enough, one brave diver decided to play leap-frog with one of the sharks, a decision that almost cost him his leg.
You can watch the large tiger shark attempt to take a bite out of the diver’s leg at the 0:40 mark of the video below. Luckily he was able to pull it away at the last second, else these sharks likely would have been feeding on more than just a box of cut up fish.
Check it out.
