Stat Line Of The Night — 4/3/12 — Mike Smith
Stat Line Of The Night — 4/4/12 — LeBron James
When the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat faced off just over a week ago in what many believed to be a possible NBA Finals preview, LeBron James put up a rather mediocre stat line (17 points, seven assists and three rebounds) during a 103-87 loss. He was looking for a much better performance during last night’s rematch between the two powerhouse teams, and he would deliver just that.
James was doing it all on the court against the Thunder last night, as he recorded 34 points to go along with 10 assists, seven rebounds and four steals. That much improved performance from James would result in a much better outcome for the Heat this time around, as they got their revenge on the Thunder via a 98-93 victory.
LeBron entered last night’s game as a favorite to take home NBA MVP honors this season, and his impressive outing should only improve his chances of earning that honor. And speaking of honors, James also earn “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
