Jerry “The King” Lawler Piledrives A Clippers Fan At The Grizzlies’ Game (Video)
The Western Conference Quarterfinal battle between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies was expected to be physical. That was certainly the case between the whistles during Game 2 last night, as the Clippers’ Mo Williams, Eric Bledsoe and Nick Young all sustained injuries at some point during the Grizzlies’ 105-98 victory. And it was also a good way to describe the action that was taking place after the whistles at the FedEx Forum, as WWE legend and Memphis’ own Jerry “The King” Lawler got in on the action when he hit a Clippers fan with a piledriver onto the hardwood during a timeout.
The TNT crew discussed the incident during the Sprint Halftime Report, and that seemed to be the perfect opportunity for Charles Barkley to tell Brock Lesnar that he better keep his hands off John Cena, or the NBA Hall-of-Famer is going to have to make the former UFC Heavyweight Champion pay.
Can you say “John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania XXIX with Charles Barkley as the guest referee”? Let’s make it happen!
