Tony Parker Reminds Gregg Popovich That He Is Only 29-Years-Old (Video)

During Game 2 of the San Antonio Spurs’ Western Conference Quarterfinal series against the Memphis Grizzlies, his own coach, Gregg Popovich also seemed to forget, as he tried to pull Parker from the game in the third quarter with his team owning a comfortable lead.
However, Parker wasn’t ready to call it a night, so after Popovich informed him that if he played the full third quarter, it would bring his playing time to 29 minutes, the French point guard provided the following rebuttal:
“But I’m fine. I didn’t play for three days Pop. I’m 29-year-old.”
That seemed to convince Popovich, as he left Parker out there to finish the quarter. And his star player made the most of it, as he helped the Spurs build a commanding 87-53 lead before sitting out the entire fourth quarter.
