Metta World Peace Was Throwing Elbows On CONAN Last Night (Video)
The faces of all NBA players may be safe for the time being, as Ron Artest, a.k.a. Metta World Peace, is still serving his seven-game suspension for elbowing James Harden in the face during an over-enthusiastic post-dunk celebration. The face of Conan O’Brien and his sidekick, Andy Richter, on the other hand, were at serious risk during Conan last night, as Artest’s elbows were swinging freely through the air once again during his appearance on the show.
Artest discussed the elbowing incident with Conan, stating that he hasn’t contacted Harden yet because the two teams may still meet in the playoffs. He also admitted that he feels he deserved the suspension, but believes that seven games may have been a little too harsh. And at one point, he even took the opportunity to demonstrate his elbow-swinging abilities on Andy. Thankfully, everyone was able to escape the set concussion-free.
You can check out Artest’s appearance on Conan in the videos below.
