The Game: Cleveland Indians @ Boston Red Sox

The Pick: Cleveland Indians +106

The Reason: The Boston Red Sox have gotten off to a slow start on the season, and are currently 12-19 at the bottom of the American League East.  The Cleveland Indians, on the other hand, have performed well and are sitting atop the A.L. Central division with their record at 18-13.  Tonight the Indians will send flamethrower Ubaldo Jimenez to the mound against the BoSox’s Clay Buchholz in Fenway Park.  Ubaldo has pitched consistently well on the season, never surrendering more than 4 runs in an appearance, while Buchholz has an ERA of over 9.00 and has yet to surrender less than five runs in any appearance.  Look for another consistent start from Jimenez, and a win for the Cleveland Indians tonight.

The Game: Tampa Bay Rays @ Baltimore Orioles

The Pick: Rays -124

The Reason: Tonight the Tampa Bay Rays will send their very young and talented Jeremy Hellickson to the mound against Dana Eveland of the Baltimore Orioles, in Oriole Park at Camden Yards.  The Rays are currently tied with the Orioles for first place in the A.L. East, but this game probably will not live up to the expectation of a game between two teams battling for first.  Hellickson has been great this year, with his ERA at 2.75 and his record 3-0.  Dana Eveland is making his 2012 Orioles debut, after having some success in the minor leagues.  Look for Hellickson to have another great start tonight, and Tampa Bay’s bats to give Eveland another painful “welcome” to the A.L. East (he had an unsuccessful stint with the Blue Jays in 2010) by handing him a loss.

2012 Record: (84-83-10), This Week: (3-3-2), Last Week: (5-5)
