Here are some of the best sports plays for all you gamblers out there.

The Game: Arizona Diamondbacks @ Los Angeles Dodgers

The Pick: Dodgers -130

The Reason: The L.A. Dodgers will send Chad Billingsley to the mound against the Arizona Diamondbacks’ young Wade Miley.  Billingsley’s last two starts have been rough ones, but he has been a victim of bad luck, as he has been drawing a lot of ground balls, but not receiving the results that would normally accompany that.  The Dodgers have been almost unbeatable at home, while only average on the road.  Wade Miley has pitched quite well this season, with an ERA of 2.76, but his peripheral stats, including his batting average on balls in play (.257), would indicate that he has been on the receiving end of good luck.  Look for the game to be close, but the Dodgers to come out with a win over the D-Backs in Dodger Stadium.

The Game: Cincinnati Reds @ Atlanta Braves

The Pick: Reds +108

The Reason: The Reds will send the talented Johnny Cueto to the mound to face off against the Braves’ seasoned veteran Tim Hudson.  Hudson has not been his dominant self yet this year in his three starts (4.50 ERA), and Cueto has been simply magnificent, with an ERA of 1.12 and a record of 4-0.  The Reds are coming off of a 3-1 win over the  Braves last night, giving them a short two game win streak.  While Atlanta has been a fantastic team this season, with a record of 22-14, they have showed most of that talent on the road (14-8 record away from Turner Field); their record at home is only 8-6.  Look for Tim Hudson to find more of his usual rhythm and pitch well, but not well enough to beat Cueto, in a Reds win over the Braves on the road at Turner Field.

2012 Record: (84-87-10), This Week: (0-2), Last Week: (3-5-2)
