Claude Giroux Was Beating Smokeshows In Beer Pong With Casts On Both Wrists (Photos)
After recording a career-high 93 points during the regular season, and adding another 17 points in 10 playoff games, Claude Giroux of the Philadelphia Flyers was forced to undergo off-season surgery on both of his wrists (to repair torn cartilage in his right, and remove bone spurs from his left). And while the All-Star forward is expected to take up to six weeks to recover from the procedure, he was able to play through the injury (in true hockey-player-fashion) and take on a few lovely ladies in a game of beer pong.
One of those lovely ladies goes by the Twitter handle @alexanndra, as she Tweeted the following on Sunday:
“giroux just whooped my ass in beerpong. he has casts on both his wrists…”
A shot at raising the Stanley Cup certainly provided Giroux with an incentive to play through the pain of his wrist injuries during the post season, and we’ll simply assume that Alexandra’s stunning figure was all of the motivation Giroux required to play through his injuries during Sunday’s beer pong game. You can see what I am talking about via the images of Alexandra below.
