At 20 years of age, Kyrie Irving is far from being considered old, but with the help of a good make-up crew and plenty of fake white hairs, he was able to play the part to a tee during a recent Pepsi Max commercial.
Posing as Uncle Drew, Irving was invited by his cousin to join in on a pick-up game at Clark’s Pond Courts in Bloomfield, New Jersey. And after warming up his rickety bones and fake hip with a few air balls and some turnovers, it wasn’t long before Uncle Drew was hitting long-range threes, dancing around opponents with his killer crossover, and throwing down monstrous two-handed dunks.
Needless to say, the jig was up after his thunderous off-the-backboard slam.
